I bought one today. And I had to share my guilt. That is all.

What is the difference in it than a 34?

Good addition to any assortment of Glocks, but I prefer the 34 personally (have both, of course).

Congrats, regardless!

Where from?  I just got a 34 and need a 17 and 17L to complete my 9mm Glock collection.

Ok I see big difference.

I just bought it because they aren't common. I didn't really want it or need it.

Maybe I'll try carrying it.

Only other Glock I own is a 20 Gen4. Because if it's worth shooting, it's probably worth shooting with 10mm.

I just bought my second 17L, it should be coming in tomorrow! Ordered from the Glock Store . com

I bought my first 17L just because I had never seen one before, now it is one of my favorites to shoot on the range and it has accompanied me a couple of times hunting.

I have never liked 17L's but after viewing this thread multiple times I can now say I really want one inexplicably.

If anyone qualifies for the Blue Label Program make sure you get your 17L under that.  Glock just added the 17L's to the blue label list.  $480 or so with 3 mags.

Is the G17L available in Gen4?  If so, I will pick one up.

Picked mine up today as well.  Sometimes you get something just because you can.  I've always wanted a 17L though I can't say why, but never got around ordering one until this batch was released by Glock.

I wish I was able to get one for $480 but I did get within $100 of that and based on the prices I've seen since I ordered mine I can live with that.
Post a pic and all that...

I picked up one used a while back for $525.  2012 model.  Still had the copper grease on it.  Changed out the sights to Warren Tacticals and put a higher front sight on her.  Love the LONG Glocks.
