| Is this a worthy upgrade? I know it was designed as a carry gun trigger. Does anyone have it installed on their carry gun and have you had any issues? |

I put one in a gen 2 19, it did shorten the trigger take up and breaks very cleanly, but the claims of resetting like a 1911 are very overrated. ETA As to the question of whether it's worth it, that's subjective at best, to me yes it was a good upgrade and worth it. On the flip side the 3.5 Ghost connector I put into a Gen 3 22 has a shorter reset than the Hailey, but not as short a take up or as clean a break. |
| I have it installed in my 19, 26, and 17L. I have also installed it in a friends 26 and my cousin's 26 and 19. So yeah, I think it is a worthwhile upgrade. It shortens the pretravel, and the reset and makes the trigger not feel as "stagey" and is more like one continual pull. I don't mind the stock Glock trigger at all. If you like the stock trigger I think you will like the skimmer trigger more. If you don't like the stock Glock trigger, I don't think you will like the Skimmer Trigger. |

I've found that the safety issue was overblown, didn't apply, and that the trigger works just fine, same as it would under any other circumstance with a stock Glock trigger.
I found that the reduction in pre-travel gave ME less opportunity to fuck something up. I shoot Glocks more accurately against a shot timer with the skimmer. It certainly isn't a phenomenal trigger in the classic sense of what one would consider the best trigger, but it removes enough of the slop versus factory that now I have nobody to blame but myself if I throw a shot. |
