How normal is it for a Glock's pull weight to vary considerably? I have a Gen 4 26, 19, and newly purchased 34. The 34 is noticeably (like 3 pounds, by feel) heavier than the others. Why is this? Is it just luck of the draw? Can it be remedied/mitigated?
I want to stay with all stock parts, and all 3 to have as similar a trigger pull as possible. There isn't any more grit/creep/mush than would be normal for a stock glock, just excess weight. Standard dot connector (blue label 34s don't come with minus connectors) and springs (no NY, etc). ETA: Could this be the result of it being new, and the striker spring being stiff? Or is that a silly guess? |

I'm new to the Glock scene but one thing I did notice is no two Glock triggers feel the same. I've polished my 41 trigger parts to a mirror finish with a dremel (they come with a minus connector) Put a Ghost 3.5 in just for the hell of it and it feels the same. My friend has a G19 and he tried to duplicate what I did to me 41 since its trigger felt so awesome. He put in the same parts and springs that I have in my 41 and polished them the same. What do ya know his feels completely different. So you just have to treat each one to its individual needs. |

You would really need to find a pull gauge to see what's going on. All Glock triggers will break in with time into a nice crisp break, but the Gen 4 trigger with a Dot connector is supposed to be very nice and crisp as is. I would call Glock and ask them. They may send you a new one just take care of it. You may have just gotten a poorly manufacture one, as this happens. |
