I assume LEO. I would not want to carry a "C" Glock due to the possibility of shooting from inside a vehicle or from the held close to the chest "guard" position due to the flame.
I believe they are less popular then regular non-ported Glocks but someone is sure to buy it... |

See here As far as Gen3/Gen4 interoperability goes, IIRC someone tested and found that a complete Gen 3 upper assembly (including recoil spring assembly) can work on a Gen 4 frame, but a Gen 4 upper assembly (including it's necessary recoil spring assembly) will not fit or function on a Gen 3 lower (in general, there are some exceptions) |
