110 yards (verified with GPS)

13 impacts out of 20 rounds fired. Took several rounds to figure out the range then I had a couple misses as well.

Gun is an all factory Glock 20 shooting some cheapo Remingon FMJ. Better sights would have helped a bit but I want to longslide this gun and don't want to spend money on sights yet.

Not bad and with practice you will increase your hit percentage - I really like seeing posts like the after all the bs of people saying how accurate the xyz gun or ammo they have is- then admit it was only shot at 7-10 yards !

OP, good start, now that you know you can hit your target @100 yards, time to practice more. Many years ago, when I was a LOT younger and had better eye sight, I could hit targets as far as 200 yards with a 44 mag.  That took a lot of practice but it was worth it.  What load are you using?

I shot my custom 10mm Glock routinely at our 214yd 24" steel plate with 80% hit rates back a few years ago before they removed the plate.  With FO front sight, melted Bo-Mar rear sight, a little practice, and the decent trajectory of my 165grn warm 10mm Power Pistol handloads, I had a ton of fun shooting it standing, 2 handed, unsupported.

It's all about practice as over 90% of my pistol shooting practice is at long range (over 75 yds).  I love to shoot at bowling pins and 2 liter soda bottles at 100yds for practice. My motto is 'Aim Small, Miss Small.'

Nice shooting. May I ask where you got your targets? I like those.

We shot a G34 and 1911 at 125 yards with a 12" gong. Would have shot my 21, but all I had were cast lead for my .45 ammo today. It's certainly fun and challenging. I, too, have a gen 3 in OD. Very nice.

Thats a nice looking Glock 20! I want to get an older model longslide like that for my own, I can't stand the look of the newer LW slides with the sloped front ends. Figure it'd be about the same length and weight as my old .357 but will a lot more ammunition.

Thanks, I made them. They aren't any sort of AR steel so they are reserved for rimfire or pistols out past 100 yards (don't want to tear them up to fast).

Good shooting OP.  The farthest I've ever shot with a handgun is 50 yards and that was difficult enough for me to get accurate hits so I couldn't imagine engaging a target accurately like you did at 110 yards.  Again good shooting bro.
