I'm in the market for a new gun...Have a .45 and .40 caliber already...was serioulsy considering the .357 SIG that Glock has...What's the difference between Glock 31 & Glock 32??  And is it really worth it to buy the .357 model?  I wanted to buy my wife a 9mm to shoot when we go to range etc...But I thought this round seemed interesting and would be a fun round for me to shoot at the range and target practicing.  Thanks for any input.

Assuming you have a Glock 22/23 for your .40 cal why don't you buy a .357 sig barrel for it?

Have you tried to find cheap practice/training ammo?

NO I don't already have a Glock...This would be my 1st one.........and no I didn't really search ammo that hard??  This is why I asked these questions, because I'm new to this Glock .357/.40 Swap  gun world

The .357 sig is literally a necked down 40 to a 9mm. What you can do is get a Glock 22 (very common and can be had very cheap in comparison) get a 357 sig insert barrel (fills the 40 cal dimensions) And able to have 2 guns in 1. Be able to use Same mags as well.

You can also get a 9mm insert barrel as well but would need G17 mags.

If you go this route having 1 gun in multiple barrel you will ne to go in the Glock 22. It will not work making a 17 in to a 22.

What .40 gun do you have?

Yes it is

If you want a 357 Sig get the conversion barrel and buy a 9mm pistol. It save some money. which will help based on the cost of ammo for the .357 sig and near lack of availability

The .357 sig mags have a different follower than the .40 mags.
