I just got my first Glock, it's a gen 3 20SF. I have a 100 rounds of various ammo through it so far and it has functioned perfectly, at 15 yards I'm grouping 4'' with most shots landing low left. I have to get used to the trigger on this thing, I'm spoiled by 1911 triggers and the Glock trigger is long and heavy in comparison. my brother liked it so much he just ordered a gen 4 20 . I was very surprised at how snappy this thing is especially with the underwood ammo, I think a grip sleeve would help but I just can't stand the look of them. I also have some lee dies on the way so I can load my own here soon. anyone here have any advise on the trigger? I would like to be able to carry it once and awhile so I don't want anything too light, I did the 25 cent job on it and while it did help some it still doesn't feel as good as my XDM.

Welcome to the club , it is your first but i won't be your last. They are addictive and the abundance of parts and models, makes them the most versatile handguns ever produced.
I love shooting my 1911 more than anything but if you wanna throw a gun in a pack or a boat or under a the seat or test hand loads or want hi capacity or durability or.... you'll get the idea.

Welcome aboard. I have a 20 and a 21 and with my 180gr XTP hand loads it is a little more stout than my Mod 21 shooting Hornady XTP 45acp +P ammo. Still noticeably less recoil though than same load out of my 10mm Delta elite. Enjoy.

Welcome....my 1st was a Gen 3 26..kept her about 3 months, sold and jumped on a Gen 4 - 19 and LOVE it
Day one at the range I was hitting low left as well. 2nd day at range I was much better after watching some
youtubes vids, advice from here and about 30 min a day dry firing...

and maybe I will post the pic, one day of shooting a hole through my kitchen window after a few beers and
finger fucking the trigger with racking slide/dry fire....but it wasn't a dry fire..

No dogs killed, all thick woods in the back yard of 2 acres.

My 19 is NOT in my hands once i crack open a beer, per the wifes rules

My first was a Gen3 G19 in April 2004. The last ten years, I have gone through Sigs and back to Glock; I have gone through H&K and circled back around to striker fired M&Ps; and I have finally come round full circle back to the 19 - only this time it is a Gen4.

Glock makes a solid gun.
