Hello new to the glock side so apologies if this was asked before I'm dying to get either a FDE glock or a OD but have been reading a lot of posts about the color some how weakening the glock frame .I've read about cracks ,splits up by the lanyard hole ect. I can't imagine glock putting out faulty firearms or I'm just from the old school. So can anybody out there make me feel better about taking a dive into the world of glock, yes I know if something happened they would make things right but I would want a matching serial number gun not mismatched, help me out.TK |

First I've heard of this. I did some research on one before I bought mine. Never heard there was a problem with weak frames because of being fde.
I do know Magpul did say the lack of carbon in fde mags made them not as strong as black ones but, they are still good to go. |
| It has to be real I read about it on the internet,,,no seriousley I heard this guy at the range talking about it to a glock rep.something about introducing an additive to the mix kind of the same as the colored magpul mags being more prone to breakage ,thanks all. |
