LaserMax is the leading manufacturer of laser gunsights for law enforcement and the shooting sports community. The LaserMax is the prime choice for law enforcement and special operations and firearms training, as well as home defense, target shooting and hunting. The LaserMax is universally acknowledged as the top laser sight for quality and reliability. Installation Takes 5 Minutes - no gunsmithing required! Almost instantly you'll have a laser-sighted weapon which can be used outdoors from dusk till dawn, or indoors round-the-clock. Drops into place (replaces original recoil spring guide). Unit cannot be knocked out of alignment, deliberate on/off activation. Made in U.S.A. Three-year warranty (excludes expendable parts). Additional Features: Laser Operating Temperature is 15 - 120F Wavelength: 635nm (red-orange) Power Output: 3mW (brightest available - pulsates for highest visibility)

Has anybody bought this? Is is accurate? Any other info would be helpful. Or would I be better off buying a complete new reciever with rails(350 bucks at a local place)have

A better use of the money would be to buy lots of ammo, and practice with regular sights.   The laser sight is just a toy, IMHO.

They are good for driving cats crazy, though.

Glock will upgrade your non-rail frame for alot cheaper than $350, I think $150, but I might be wrong about that price.

If you can see them, they can see you.

The LaserMax pulses when activated. I looked at the New Crimson Trace Lasers for Glocks. Nice unit and when compairing the two, the CT laser is much brighter plus it's a solid on,  no flashing. Adjustable for windage/elevation

Ive got one in my Glock 22, never use it though.  Can't see it in daylight and at night it only tells the recipient where you are.  It's a novelty thing, it looks cool though.  The only reason I have mine is it came on my gun when I bought it.  But to answer your question if I put the dot on the head of a silohuette target at 15yds the rounds went through the head.  My G22 itself watermelon at 100yds ironsights.
