I bought ten to try out in the G17.  I replaced the springs with wolf springs.

The mags drop free for the pistol when the slide is forward.  After the last round is fired and the slide is locked to the rear, the mag will not drop free.  This is with every one of the mags.

What's the issue here?  other than the fact that I went cheap

On a positive note, I can't miss the target with the G17 and my new G26.

The follower may have flash or mold lines on it where it engages the slide stop, have you pulled the follower out to look for marks near where it is engaging the slide stop?

Got to be an expensive lesson as to why you only buy genuine Glock mags.  Sorry, cannot help with your issue other than to say Glock mags likely would function properly.

I have twenty of the Khan made Glock mags. They are good for range use since it forces you to do malfunction drills. I have had them on occasion run like a top only to fail once I blinked, lol. Keep them for range use / beater mags / trade fodder and get some factory mags.

Glock's aren't 1911's, the best mag for Glocks are made by..... you guessed it.... Glock!

I won't even waste my time with aftermarket glock type mags.

For $180, I'd pull mags.  Even Glock mags get stuck after rolling around in teh dirt.
Although, my Khans and KCI's all work fine.

Just de burr them with your pocket knife or a razor blade. I bought the 27 round 45 mags and they work great. I do prefer glock mags though.

The spring may be too strong for the mag/follower combination. As a result it is exerting to much upward pressure, causing the follower to sit higher. It catches on the slide and will not allow it to go forward.

Factory magazines, and springs only for me. They work fine. Most of the time when a Glock malfunctions, its because you changed a factory part for an aftermarket one. Use only factory magazines and springs and your troubles will end.

Wow, that is the most positive spin on an aftermarket POS mag that I have ever heard. Did you type that with a straight face?

I bought three.  None worked; even after replacing springs and followers, and cleaning up the flashing.

My experience, almost word for word (I bought 4).  They're in a drawer in the shed.

I have one 15 round KCI that has been so reliable, I forget it is different than my Glock mags. Realized the other day it was in my carry gun while out and about. I have 10 33rd Korean mags and they need a lot of work cutting away extra plastic so that they will hold more than 20 or so rounds and function reliably. I have not done the work needed on them. I bought them during the panic at prepanic prices and held on to them just in case. Overall, I would stick with the Glock factory mags. I know it is possible for Glock mags to come with problems, but I just haven't seen it yet.

to the op, look for excess plastic cut it away. Clean the magazines.see if that helps.
