I just installed what ghost calls there 3.5 pound trigger but is what I assume a connector. I can tell it is lighter now but when dry firing after install I could tell the slide was rougher or hanging up in three spots when riding back forward. Anyone else experience this? I went as far as installing factory back in and it was smooth so I put ghost back in and its is still rough. Any help? |

My advice is get a Zev Tech race connector. They imho don't make a glock trigger squishier than they already are just lighter. A stock glock trigger just feels stiffer but no crisper compared to one with a zev tech connector. My glocks with them all have roughly about 4.5lb triggers.
The ghost rocket connector I tried was squishy city. It just felt mushier than ever. It sounds like you need to remove more of the tab you have to fit for installation. Really though buy a $15 zev tech race connector that requires no fitting and call it a day. |
| You need to take the Ghost connector and bend it inwards towards the housing. The little tab on top of the connector is sitting tighter against the slide causing the feeling you have. Go slow on bending the connector inwards because to far will keep the trigger from resetting. |

After bending it and after that i put a little polish where the trigger bow rides, now it feels really good. |

I installed a Ghost 3.5 as well and did a 25 cent trigger job. Together they made the trigger feel much better. Link below for videos.

I did a Ghost 5# and had to do quite a bit of fitting (not just the overtravel stop tab).
If you look at the connector closely you'll see where it has rough segments along the sides. Mine would not fit properly into the plastic channel along the side of the "trigger mechanism housing" where the connector moves into prior to reset. This was causing binding. I ground off the raised jagged mess along the edges and stoned it all smooth until the connector could properly move in and out of the plastic channel along the side of the "trigger mechanism housing". This fixed the binding and smoothed things up. Also, now that you have a lighter trigger you'll notice the feel of the striker safety plunger more. It's a gritty mess from the factory. If you polish up the plunger and cylinder bore you'll notice a significant improvement in smoothness of the trigger pull. Chuck it up in a drill or lathe and polish one end, then flip it over and do the other. The cylinder bore is more work, but worth the effort. |
