I just found a gen3 Glock 17 new with 2 magazines for $399 and need it. just bought my AR and its going to be difficult to get. Is this deal worth going broke for a while?

That is an excellent deal. I'd be all over it. So you have to eat ramen noodles and can't go out to eat for a while. Big deal!

YES!!! That's a minimum of $75 cheaper than you'll find anywhere else. Worse case scenario is you decide in a couple weeks you need the money worse and you will have no problem getting your money back on a deal like that.

How are you getting this deal? The only time I've seen G17s go for that amount is when they are police trade ins; are you sure it's new?

If so, then yeah, you won't see it again.

Its at some loner gun store out in the boonies that doesn't have a name or website, its just says GUNS on the side of the building. They said they don't sell many Glocks and are overstocked...somehow. I just hope I can find the place again.

If I don't get one I see two options, spiral into depression, or drive off a bridge. They were brand new with the hard case and had OD or FDE frames...maybe people don't like color?

Not a bad price for a NIB Gen3 at all. I'm partial to the Gen4, but Gen3 is great. Too bad it doesn't come with another magazines, but mags are cheap right now. Stock up!

I'm a bit suspicious...............being that dealer cost on a new G17 3rdGen is $440.

I can't imagine they "don't sell many Glocks" at a price that's $40 less than my distributor charges me.

Seriously, please IM me the shops contact info...........I'll take a hundred all they have at that price.

You only have one g17?

G17's are like potato chips...having just one is nearly impossible.

If they're selling NIB colored glocks for $400, I'd probably be tempted to pick up more than one.

Hope the deal is legit and that that dealer isn't violating minimum price agreements.

I say buy it if you can lay your hands on it. I'm not sure I'd do an internet deal at that price.

If you can get a New Glock for 399, no matter the model get it. I agree with the FFL above that it sounds a bit fishy.

If I found a FDE or OD glock new for 399....it would have left the store with me. Maybe two.....

And I would have called my buddies. That gun store wouldn't be 'overstocked' for long.
