I ordered a used 17 from SOG last week, and when it came in, the back plate?? on the rear of the slide had 2 holes that were drilled and tapped..

Any ideas what this might have been?? Maybe some sort of rear sight, or poibbly some type of full auto conversion??

BTW It was in terrible shape, and I sent it back.. Looks like it had tons of ammo run thru it, that is what was leading me to think a auto conversion.. I belive these were police trade in guns.

The two holes may be from a previously mounted "clip draw". Check www.clipdraw.com, the page for glocks has pics that may help to determine if that is what it may have been.

The slide cover plate would simply be replaced for a f.a. conversion.

Thanks Sparky, that clip draw is what the holes were for.. Never thought of that..
