Tomorrow I'm buying my first Glock. A Gen 4 G19. I sold an M&P 9mm C to fund this. I'm pretty excited. Tell me what I'm in for. I can't wait to fall in love with this gun. It will be my edc and some competition shooting. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I went into my local shop early December anticipating a new M&P9 because I like the shield so much but was turned off by the quality. Maybe it was just the 2 he had but they had machine marks on the end of the barrels and a rough looking crown. So I started looking at the G19 and thought they have always felt good in my hand....hmm why not try my first Glock?
Six weeks later, TFO sights, at least 6 to 700 rounds, and grip mod I'm thinking why did I not do this years ago! |

I didn't get off work in time to make it to the gun shop. There is a gun show here in Tallahassee this weekend. I recently read some good reviews on the Sig 2022. I'll probably go this afternoon to handle the G19 and the Sig, then make the buy there. Anyone have experience with the Sig 2022? Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Performs great. The 19 and 2022 are two completely different pistols though. Low bore height striker fired vs High bore height hammer fired DA/SA. Which do you prefer? SP 2022 only comes with 1 magazine so check mag prices for an apples to apples price comparison. |
