Please accept my apology if this has been discussed already,
Probably too many times....... I want a G19 Gen 4 but can only find them with the black dull finish, Can you still find a NIB G19 Gen 4 with the textured shiny surface? I'd buy the Gen 3 but I need the smaller trigger reach that I can get with the Gen 4. Thanks |

It's probably a crap shoot if you can find some older stock or newer stock. It hasn't seemed like there is much consistency in the exact black finish they have had over the last year or so. Mine was made in Feb of '13 and it has the shinier finish on it. Initially I thought it was less durable but later found once I actually wiped it off with an oily rag, that the "wear" on it wiped right off. |
