Looking to sell my Gen3 Glock 23 to purchase a different pistol and was wondering if I'm asking a fair price as I'm offering it up to some military buddies first. Checked the search function to no avail, so...

Gun has around 500 rounds through it, clean it regularly, no holster wear, etc. I've not been able to shoot it much since I got it right before my back to back football and wrestling coaching marathon began this past year.

Is $450-$475 a fair price?

Thanks

Not when your Mil. buddies can get a blue label for $400.  Deals can be had by civies for $525 all day long.  So for a used Glock Gen 3, I'd say $400 would probably be legit.

Hmmm... Good point about the lower price they can get.

I wonder if I can keep the price up around $450 if I throw in the .40 S&W ammo I have left?

150 rounds of fmj and 40 rounds of PDX1's.

I would "ask" $450, but sell for $425 or so... New can be purchased by anyone (non LE or military) for $500 or less if you shop. People must remember that they pay no sales tax through you as well. Ammo always sweetens the deal.

Youll get 350$ probably. Blue labels are aub 400$ and brand new gen threes are 479-499 everywhere.

LL has it right.  $425, plus the ammo, will cause you to not have a Glock anymore.  It's a buyers market right now, so you know how that goes.  I know that's not the answer you wanted to hear, but I really think it's a true one.  Either way, good luck man.

Thanks man, and thanks to the other answers as well. I honestly had completely forgot about blue label pistols.

Getting $425 for it will be good with me. Its my only .40, so I'd have no use for the ammo anyways.

I'm selling in order to purchase a G19 anyways... Common caliber between myself and my fiancee. I'm a high school teacher/coach... Ain't got the money to be feeding a ton of different caliber guns.
