I got bored and wanted to do some gun work... so I bought the ghost 3LB trigger connector bar (the one tha tneeds to be grinded custom fit to your gun) and tore it apart. First time I had ever messed with my Glock. I found some terribly fuzzy and photocopied from a photocopy of a photocopy (so on and so on) manual from 1992 but it helped. I grinded and grinded and installed, dry fired and could not feel much of a difference.
I decided I needed to fire a few rounds to tell the difference so I took it to the range last week and I was VERY impressed with the difference. The take up is soo short now and smooth and the trigger is very light. It is on a G17 that I do NOT carry ever so I am not worried about the liabilities of a light trigger, etc. |

These are great. I installed he 5lb version (Tactical) his weekend. Love it. Trouble with a Glock is the lighter he trigger the muddier the break. The 5lb is good and crisp. I spent a lot of time on the overtravel stop tab and am very happy. Make sure gun will dry fire reliably with hand pressure pushing down on top of slide. I've found that a gun that barely fires in normal battery won't fire if there is slight pressure on top of slide due to the slop in slide/frame fit. Make sure it will fire under all conditions. Also, definitely do the Spaulding cut! The short reset it gives is fantastic! Detailed instructions on the ghostinc.com home page for both standard fitting and Spaulding cut method. Not sure why OP was using old photocopy.

Although I did email them askig a question prior to figuring it out from youtube and a run to the gun shop and never heard back from them.
I REALLY don't like when companies do not return emails. I stay busy so I prefer to be able to send an email and forget it until I get a response. |
