Made a post earlier about an issue I had, I have figured it out. Question is when putting the slide back on the frame when you get to the dimple on the trigger bar apparently you can pull the trigger forward some to get the dimple in the right spot to get slide all the forward. Could that damage the trigger assembly?

Pulling it forward won't hurt anything that I'm aware of but I don't see a reason for it.   I have a few gen 4 guns and have never had trouble reassembling them to the point where I thought I needed to do this.

Well, I know for sure what I did now, operator error, been so long since I had a glock that I pulled the slide to far back before pulling the tabs down to take off the slide which caused the trigger bar to be out of place a hair. Did it twice the correct way and problem solved. Called glock asking about the pulling the trigger forward would hurt it or not, said it shouldn't. This is way they have owners manuals, its for people like me lol!

Don't worry, it happens to the best of us.

Wait until you reassemble it without a recoil spring, or launch your spring loaded bearing across the room and lose it.
