Anyone had problems with this in their Glocks?  Local Academy has it for $3.86/box of 50, but the guy behind the counter said it wouldn't shoot in his Glock.  I bought 10 boxes anyway because I've never heard that before and I don't put a whole lot of stock in people who work at Academy.  Just wondering if anyone here has had a problem.

I'm assuming that is the aluminum case stuff???? That is what Glock uses to test fire.

They also make Blazer brass case ammo which I use quite a bit.

I use it if walmart is out of the valupacks.  I haven't had any problems with it.

Yes, the Al case stuff.  The brass stuff is a good bit more expensive.  I was thinking that several companies use that ammo, and IIRC many PDs use it to qualify/train.  That's why it struck me funny that he said not to buy it if I was going to shoot it in a Glock.

I've shot 1000's of rounds of aluminum cased blazer out of my glocks with ZERO problems.

At several tactical pistol courses I have taken... the ground is literally crushed aluminum from all the CCI cases laying about.  For training ammo, I buy whatever is cheapest.  I buy WWB on sale for $80/k.... when I cannot buy that, I get CCI from Academy.

When it comes to range/blasting ammo my Glocks have only seen Blazer... I've never been a fan of WWB and their 'red sealant' <is Winchester still using it?> but I've used thousands of rounds of 9mm Blazers with never any problems...

But what do I know?  I'm not afraid to use Wolf in my ARs either...

They're not using the sealant anymore but they're ammo still burns dirty as shit.  I prefer aluminum cased Blazer as well and it seems little hotter.

Yeah the Blazer I shot in my USP 45 felt a little hotter than WWB.  I had a magazine half loaded with CCI and half with WWB (in between boxes) at the range Sunday and there was noticeable difference between the two.

I order 10000 Blazers per year for our Model 22 Glocks. Never had a problem with it.

I buy it by the case for my Glock 19 from Natchez Shooter Supply.

I have used about 1000 rounds of CCI 10mm in both my 20 and 29, without a problem. I was getting boxes of 50 from Sports Authority for $9.95. which is a great price, they have not restocked it yet though.

CCI blazer is what my agency uses to train with.  Never had any problems with it.

Same here. I just bought another case from Academy at $3.86 per box/50. Tuff to beat!

I noticed today that the ground around the steel plates at my range is practically paved with Al cases tossed from Glocks shooting Blazer.

I shot about 100 - 150 rounds through my G19 last weekend - no problems, as I expected.  Academy employees are real winners, huh?

I've had too many problems with it, in a variety of guns.  It's like ramen noodles, cheep, but causes digestion problems
