| Alright guys how much is a slightly used gen 4 g27 worth I got a guy that wants me to take it in as partial trade towards my dpms oracle I was asking 700 for my oracle with a magpul hand guard and he's going to give me his g27 and 250 I'm just going to turn around and sell the glock so I just need to know its worth at least 450 |
| For a used gen 4 27 I would put it around the $450 range. I won't sale a used gen 3 under $400 unless its been trashed. Since this guy doesn't work for a gun shop he's probably doesn't have access to the rape prices gunshops give for used guns. I worked for a gunshop as well it's crazy what you can talk people into that want to trade for another gun. |
| I wouldn't pay more than around $425 for one. You can get them new for around $525-$575. You get more than around $425-$450 and you get to the point to where it makes more sense to spend the extra money and just buy a new one. If you were wanting $700 for your DPMS, I'd say the G27 with $300 boot would be a fair deal for both parties. $250 boot is still a decent deal, but you aren't going to make any money on it. You would have to be firm on $450 on the Glock just to get the $700 you wanted. At $300 boot, he's still getting around $400 for his used Glock, which is more than he would get on trade in at any gun store on it, plus it gives you some wiggle room when you go around to sell it to be able to cut someone a pretty good deal and still come out on top. |
