The metal looks like it was beat with a ball-peen hammer, any idea as to what would cause this?

Just my guess... Put away in a leather holster while covered in blood or wet with salt water/water or went through a flood and severely rusted.
Sent back to Glock where it had the pitted barrel replaced but the slide was still functional so they refinished it. Too bad you can't call Glock and get the story on it. |
