I have both and much prefer the 34 to the L. JMHO. If I started over today the only 9mm Glocks I would buy would be 19s and 34s... no 26s, 17s, or 17L. As it is now, I have them all and multiples of the 19/17/34. Quoted:

Although there are days when its nice to have a 26. |

Just purchased a GEN 4 Glock 19 and I find the grip to be superior to a GEN 3. I don't see any reason why I would have to stipple the GEN 4 grip for better hold. Had the pistol out two Sunday's ago when the temp was around 100 degrees for an hour of shooting and although I was dripping sweat in the direct sunlight I had no issue with my grip barehanded.
However, I am going to be buying an APEX Extractor for it, because the extracted casings are just tossing barely over my shoulder at about the 5:00 pm position. If I cant the pistol at all to the left I get Brass to the Head. I understand that this is an issue with the GEN 3 9mms as well though. |

Branch into 45acp and get a G21...gen 4 or sf gen 3 ^^^ +1 Gen4 G21 is my favorite. +2 then you can buy a slide and 6 inch 10mm barrel along with a 40S&W barrel 357 sig barrel and 460 Rowland you can do the same if you buy the Glock 20 also just get a 45acp side and barrel can buy both 10mm and 45 acp in long slide 6 inch barrels. Thing that is the way I'm going to go. |
