| Hey guys, it's time to buy another Glock and I'm very specifically looking for a Glock with the FDE frame. I know these are very hard to find, however, my local gun shop has 3 G22 Gen 3 in FDE in the case. Now, I've owned 2 G22's before and thought they were great guns and I've also owned the G19 Gen3 but I had a lot of problems with that one (brass in the face, extractor problems) so I sold it. I'm debating on whether to buy the G22 in the store or order a G19 from online. The gun will be used as a carry gun and a range gun. The calibers don't bother me despite everyone thinking the .40 has an unpleasant kick. What do you guys think? It's eating me up deciding which to pick. I'm not a very big guy so the G19 admittedly does fit better in my hands, but the G22 had unmatched reliability. |
| Yeah, I had a G19 and loved it besides the fact that it was always throwing brass in my face. I think the compact size of the G19 fits my hands better than the 22 but the issues I faced with the last one are altering my thoughts on one. If i were to go full sized, I'd without a doubt go 22 or 21. I'm not sure if I wanna compromise and get the G23 as I've heard it's got a very unruly recoil and I want something that I can control and have great shot placement and good follow-up shots as well. So I'm very torn. |
