I have the Pearce +1 extensions on my G27 mags, and they work fine.  They're not quite big enough, so I ordered a pair of the Scherer +1 extensions.  I cannot install them; the internal plate won't go into the magazine body (I think the plate has square corners and the magazine has rounded corners).  I vaguely remember somebody saying something about Glock changing the magazines.  Anybody know the story?

Also, I'm occasionally getting failures to feed with 180gr Speer JHP (the Ammoman bulk special).  180gr and 165gr FMJ works fine, and I got through a couple boxes of Black Hills 165gr JHP without incident.  My G22 has never had a single hiccup with any ammo, Speer included (and I shot a lot of it).  Any way to fix this?

Some claim that the extensions cause the malfunctions.  I've had no problems whatsoever.

I had the exact same problem with my set of Scherer +1 extensions.  The 10th round would FTF, I never had a problem with the stock magazine.  [ETA]My mags are the gen3 and I had no problem installing the extension. [/ETA]

My only thought was to get a postban 10 round mag spring, but then just took the extensions off.  If I want more rounds, I'll just stick a G22 mag in, until then the stock 9 round is best for my purposes.
