So I've had this Ghost Inc. trigger connector rattling around in my bag for a few months now and I finally manned up and installed it this afternoon. Putting it in wasn't as bad as i thought it would be but now that I've installed it i noticed something weird. When I go to rack the slide slowly there's a catch. It feels like the new connector is hanging up. It does stop it completely but enough to kinda irk me.

Upon closer inspection between the new and old one I noticed that the old one is smoother. Is there anything I need to do or just go out and shoot the damn thing?

You learned Glock rule #1: don't eff with the internals... Just kidding...sorta.

Find yourself an armorer.

I have installed one ghost connector in my personal pistol, don't recall any difference in the feel of racking the slide at the time.

Chech the bend angle in the new one vs. the factory connector(the main bend at the bottom). I would bet that it is not bent as tight. If its different, then bend it so it matches the factory connector. I think that will solve the problem. You can go to Ghost's web sight and they explaine it in detail.

I only feel it catch when I gently rack it. When I power stroke the som bitch I don't feel it. I think it just needs to wear itself in....... The new one is significantly rougher than the new one. I've compared the old to new and its the same its just the old one is smoother.

What connector is it?

I have their tactical connector, and if you take your time and fit it properly the results are impressive.  No overtravel at all and much shorter takeup.

Just the standard Ghost 3.5 connector, nothing special. I think I'm gonna polish it up a lil bit and see if that helps.

This.  If you spend the time to file fit it,  it's a great addition.  Make it too loose,  or get the drop-in connector,  you've wasted money.

Claim it's better to leave it stock all you want,  my Glock is 100% reliable some 1500+ rounds after installing the Ghost connector.
