Looking for a threaded barrel (black) for G21. Should I go with the storm lake or lone wolf? I see how much cheaper the lone wolf is and wondered if there is a significant quality difference.

This will be used for a suppressor so I need reliability. Shooting lead bullets isn't the use for the replacement barrel. Even though that can be a plus.

STorm lake or KKM.  I liek KKM the best myself.

I have two Storm lake barrels.  Both are GTG.  YMMV.

I've had several Lone Wolf barrels and never had a problem with any of them.

If you're shooting lead through it, you might find the tighter chamber is a little too tight, but you can send it into them with a few of your reloads and they will open it up a little bit.

Don't let the cheaper price of the LW barrels let you think they are low quality.

Personally, if I were to do it again, I would go with a KKM or Storm Lake.  I currently have a Lone Wolf and haven't been impressed.

How are the factory threaded barrels?

I could be mistaken, but I don't know of a Glock factory barrel that is threaded.

I have a OEM G19 threaded barrel, it's LH M13.5x1 threads. Bought it a year or so ago from Palmetto State Armory.

Got a G21 factory threaded, also from Palmetto, in LH 16x1

Who makes thread protectors for them? Glock?

I bought a Gemtech LH M13.5x1 thread protector for $18 from Gemtech since I have a MM9 & Tundra FDE...it only seemed logical...

I have a KKM threaded in my 19,  and I love it.

I would have tried out a factory threaded barrel,  but I would have had to buy two pistons for my Osprey to fit my 9mms,  so I axed that idea.

If money is a non-issue, I would consider Jarvis. I have a few and they are very accurate. I believe they are more accurate than the excellent OEM.
