I have a G23 and my hands are small.  I can't release the mag or the slide lock without using two hands or repositioning my shooting hand.  I am considering a grip reduction by Robar.  I am not confident enough to try it myself.  Has anyone tried this?  Comments good or bad? Thanks.

When you say try it yourself, what do you mean?  I have done it before, and I've also used ROBAR.  It's a very easy modification if you are patient and know what you're doing.  It requires about as much skill as is necessary to build a plastic model and do a good job.  As for cost, ROBAR is charging around $200 for a full reduction, and they coat their's with paint that will run off as soon as you hit the frame with solvent.

I can recommend some other people for grip reductions, and they coat theirs with something better than spray paint.  Try Arizona Response Systems, Bowie Tactical Concepts, or Lone Wolf.  All three do an excellent job and have a durable finish.  Mark Graham at ARS is a top notch guy, also.

I have a reduction on my G21, and it makes quite a bit of difference for me.

Damm that one looks good from Lone Wolf. I checked out a Glock 21 that was done by Robar and it looked like shit compared to that one.

Had mine done by www.azexarms a couple of years back.  It's held up fine.
