It's the bump on the trigger bar in the Gen 4s. Either grind the bump off or buy a Gen 3 trigger bar if you don't like the feel.
I have Gen 3 bars in both of my Gen 4s it improves the pull immensely. That bump actually increases your trigger pull by about half a pound too. |

You didn't do anything wrong and Glock triggers can vary greatly. I would shoot it more to see if it smooths out over time, or if you want results immediately you could try swapping out a couple of parts such as the trigger bar and or connector for a start.
ETA: I would, as a lesser extent to grinding, polish or make sure the dimple on the TB is smooth, make sure you have a "." dot connector. Also make sure the trigger bar riser is smooth and uniform (this is the area that makes contact with the FP safety), and shoot your pistol a fair bit. If you're still not happy, try swapping out the TB and or connector as this could make a difference as well. These are just stamped parts and can vary slightly. While there has been a lot of debate over the so called bump (I think the technical term is dimple), I would not be so quick t grind it off or go to a Gen 3 trigger bar. Your Gen 4 trigger bar was made that way for a reason, and has improvements over the Gen 3 trigger bar although some don't see it that way because it causes a slight amount of drag and increases the overall trigger pull. |
