Carry guns get cleaned after use, then I shoot a magazine of duty ammo through it.

Game gun gets cleaned about once a month; or before major matches

Training guns get cleaned whenever I get around to it; just periodically adding lube.

Personally I field strip and clean every gun I own after use. Your referance to taking it all the way down is open to interpretation. I have never taken any of my Glocks all the way down so to speak unless changing certain parts because it just isn't that hard of a platform to clean . With the cleaning fluids I use and a worn out toothbrush along with my air compressor to clear all excess fluid it is very simple and fast to deep clean a Glock without complete disassembly. Still a good idea to do it once in a while to keep a check on wear of some parts but except for cleaning and drying the firing pin channel just about every other section of a Glock can easily be cleaned without total take down.

Thats about where I am at except for my HD Glock wich is field stripped and given a quick brushing and a couple spots of oil whenever I shoot it.

When I helped my friend out at his shop the only ones that came in for repair either had some dummy playing kitchen table gunsmith or had oiled the crap out of it and gummed up the fireing pin

If you just do only what the owners manual tells you to do and nothing "extra" it will be fine

^ +1 What he said

True story....bought my first G19 when I was still a youngster....didn't know any better....just shot the dang thing....thousands of rounds, every once in a blue moon I'd run a patch through the bore. That's it...Gun ran like a clock (glock) and never had a single FTF, FTE or other mishap.

Then I got older and decided to thoroughly clean after each use...I have more issues now than before. Maybe it's my reloads, not sure but the dirtier I run em the better they perform.

YMMV

Carry weapons are cleaned every time I go to the range....

If for nothing else than to take a look at all the components are making sure they
are doing what they are supposed to/

after each firing session i pre clean them then use a ultrasonic cleaner on them for about 20 minutes.  magazines about once a year or so in the ultrasonic cleaner.

This works for me too.  Blow out any fluid remaining in the works with an air compressor.  You don't need to do this often, but the good thing is if you do you won't harm the gun.  Keep wire or brass brushes out of the picture except for cleaning the bore, and even then don't get carried away.  Glocks work surprisingly well with very minimal maintenance.  It's just what they do best.

I use non-chlorinated brake cleaner to blast debris, oil, etc., out of the firing pin channel.  Just be sure and only use four or five small drops of oil for the entire lube job.  Make sure no lube gets inside the slide.

The whole Glock goes in the ultrasonic cleaner...even the mags for 16 mins, I typically use 1.5 times the suggested cleaner amount along with distilled water. Take out, wipe down with rem cloth, lube, back in action. It actually is much more fun to shoot knowing the proper cleaning afterwards is a breeze. All Glocks get a bath after i'm done shooting

Field strip every 500 rounds detail strip frame- never. Detail strip and clean slide every 5 k. Anything more is overkill

For realz.........I just pee on mine at the range after I shoot it and let it dry. Never had a failure.

Every time after the gun is shot. Field strip it, brush/swab out the bore, brush the frame and slide, then put everything in the ultrasonic cleaner that has mineral spirits and Mobile 1 in it. When it's done wipe things off and it's very clean and lightly lubed. When I was down at Glock, the armorer even commented about my guns immaculate condition.

Field strip? Every time I shoot it.

Detail strip? I did it when I was changing the disconnector and swapping springs (I put the factory weight springs back in a week later, though).

I don't plan on doing that much at all anymore; unless it really needs it.

Pretty much the same for me except I typically field strip them every other trip out now unless they are getting shot a lot.  I did a complete tear down of my G17 after 15+ years of ownership a few years ago and everything was pretty clean so unless I'm bored I likely won't do it again, or to any of my other Glocks, for many years.

Cleaning depends on usage, both type and amount.  Carry guns get field stripped and cleaned every time they are used at the range, but at least a few times a year if they do not get in the rotation much for whatever reason.  Game guns are usually field stripped once a month or so if used heavily, or every 2-3 if only a couple matches in that time.

Between the end of one season and the beginning of the next I will detail strip and inspect the game guns.  For some reason gunk gets built up around the extractor and inside that area of the slide.  It also gives me a chance to clean off the connector.  Carry guns get fully stripped and inspected about every two years, but only when I know I will be able to get to the range before carrying them again.  I trust my ability to put everything back together right, but would rather risk a match than my safety if I didn't.
