this is a nightmare guys i gave 2 of my glocks to my friend a gen 4 22 and gen 3 32c for he can change the springs and the connectors on both glock
But he played around with the guns he put the gen 4 22 slide on the gen3 32 frame and now he got it stuck it won't come off he gave the guns back to me and he broke the slide lock out I think you used a hammer and a punch on the slide lock on the 32 the frame is messed up idk what to do idk if glock can help me and He put the new parts in the glock 32 frame |
Well, usually if you do something to get a slide stuck on a frame like forget to put the recoil spring in ( ), you have to push forward on the back of the slide so the striker engages the trigger bar... Which then lets you drop the striker and pull then slide off.
But it sounds like your friend FUBAR'd your guns. Good lesson to learn here: Do NOT mix frame and slide generations. ETA or frame/slide sizes. OP, do what I said st the top of this post and it will come right off. But I think your buddy owes you a new frame, at the very least. IM me with where you are in GA, if you're close by I may be able to help. |

Loaned my Remington 1911R1 to a pal to try out.
He just had to field-strip the damn thing...and upon reassembly..he inflicted the infamous 'idiot scratch' on the frame...
I didn't say anything...but I made a decision to not loan guns anymore. Seems like everytime I loan somebody a gun either they don't ever get around to bringing it back and I have to call and dun them for it or just go get it back myself...or I get it back with a big fingerprint rusted on it....or dinked and scratched like this LAST TIME!! I would stuff both those Glocks up your pal's rear!.. |

I wonder what made you think this knuckle head was capable of swapping springs/ connectors for you which frankly is nothing but trying to overcome lack of skill with the platform with trick parts.
Stock glocks ( ok maybe some better sights) need to be shot not messed with internally. If you can't shoot your glock well, learn don't swap parts thinking it will make a difference |

Make that moron pay for what he did. Otherwise he definitely wouldn't be my friend and I would say try calling Glock to see if you can get 2 new ones at a discount. |

good news i got the slide off now the bad news i need a new frame idk if glock can help me but i hope my friend doesn't answer my calls your friend ex-friend was not smart. instead of working on one and only one at at time, he screwed up and had both apart where ever he was doing his work. |

!) That asshole is not your friend.
2) That asshole has to pay to repair what he fucked up. 3) Stop having others do your easy replacement jobs, that aren't required anyway. Is he a FFL or licensed gun smith? If not he broke the law by taking possession of your pistols. |

They swapped my gen 2 frame for a gen 3 frame for $43. Maybe the OP will get lucky, if he talks the right way to the right person @ Glock. |

Did he break the lever or screw up the slide itself? You may be able to remove the slide from each gun by removing the back plate and pulling the firing pin out (Google: how to remove firing pin from a Glock). This may free up both slides. At that point, anything broken inside a glock can be purchased and replaced seperately. |
