I CCW with a G27 and keep the magazine with max amout of rounds.

When (if any time) do you change your magazine out for a new one or recondition mag with new spring?

I don't change mag springs until it fails to lock the slide back or I get FTF at the range. At the last armorers’ course, the instructor recommended you change mag springs every 4yrs if they are kept fully loaded 24/7 and test them at least once a yr......

As an Armorer I agree with Chad Pierce, he's one of the guys teaching the Glock Armor School right now. You can extend the life of your mags by years by doing one simple thing. Unload your mags EVERY TIME you clean your gun/guns. and then leave them that way untill your done cleaning. If not that than just an hour or two each month and you will see your mags last for years and years.

Thanks for the tip, but may I ask why? What does that do physically to the spring?

THX!
