I have a Gen 4 Glock 19 and would like to swap the serrated trigger for a factory glock smooth faced trigger.  Which modl trigger would be the correct one and does it matter if its Gen3 or Gen4?

I'm pretty sure you want the G17 trigger and I don't think it matters what gen it is but I could be wrong.

Yep. The factory smooth face Glock trigger works fine in the gen 4 19.

If you like the gritty Gen 4 trigger pull, get the Gen 4 bar for the 17. If you like the old Gen 3 trigger, get the gen 3 bar. Both work.

Glock doesn't want you changing the trigger bar, but if they were ok with it, they would tell you to use the Gen 4 TB in a Gen 4 pistol as it has some improvements over the Gen 3 TB.

Do you have a link showing an opinion by anybody at Glock that they don't want us changing our triggers?  I'd be interested in seeing that.

I ordered glock item # GLSP03608  Could someone verify that it is the correct trigger for what I'm doing?

I would imagine any smooth trigger for a Glock 9mm should work. If I remember correctly, mine is actually from a gen 3. I don't think the gen 4 specific ones were available when I got mine. Put at least 1k rounds thru it with that trigger with no problems.

The only reason they have ridged triggers on the smaller Glocks is for ATF import points, because a ridged trigger is a "target trigger."

Yes, just looked up the part # and that appears to be the Gen 4 17/22/31 trigger w/ trigger bar.  The Gen 3 17/22/31 trigger bar is part # 357.  I don't think Glock has a problem with swapping triggers, I've seen the armorers do it all the time at GSSF matches, but I believe they recommend against using the Gen 3 trigger in a Gen 4.

I use a Gen3 smooth trigger in my Gen4 G19. No problems.
