Does Glock make a +2 magazine floor plate for the G20\G21 mags? I'm guessing not as I haven't been able to find any? Are there any aftermarket version worth buying?

Nobody here knows the answer to /\ or even have an opinion? Man that would be a first!

I'm pretty sure Glock doesn't make one for the 20/21, but there are some out there by Arredondo and I think Kriss.  No idea about reliability though.

Glock doesn't make one.

Of the aftermarket ones, the Arredondo +5 is supposed to be good, but pricy.

For +2, from what I've read, the Sherer is the only one worth buying.

I ordered a few, I'll check them out when they get here.

I got one of the 2-packs I ordered today, of the Scherer "Super 2" extensions.

It's a two piece design like the factory Glock baseplates, both the base and the locking liner are plastic.

The locking plate is too short, so it was a pain in the ass to actually get it positioned right.

Once I got it on, I was only able to load 15 rounds (using the standard Glock spring and follower). After loading and unloading a few times I got 16 in, and eventually was able to get 17, but the feedlips were bulging pretty bad so I just stayed with 16.

Thinking about loading it up with 17 and leaving it inserted in the gun overnight (so the pressure is taken off the feedlips) but I'm not sure how good of an idea that is. Also kinda worried that it will deform the mag catch relief/slot in the magazine.

I don't really want to fuck up a good mag with the way prices are right now

Thanks for the feedback.  I assume you're trying the Scherer's on a G20, hence the 17rd capacity?  That's not especially encouraging though.  If you could barely fit +2 in 10mm, it seems lke +2 in .45 would be next to impossible.

It's a 2 round extension. 13+2=15. Why would you try forcing 17 rounds into it??

I have tried the Lone Wolf +2 for G20 & G21, they were pretty nice.  I sold the mags before I fired them, but they looked very functional and cant imagine any issues.  Although I cant remember if I even loaded it.

Yeah, sorry. I should have mentioned it's 10mm
