I bought my Gen4 G19 for $409 a few months ago...
Now the price at my local store is $450 Is it because Glock is raising the price, or is the store raising it? |
|
Depends on the configuration.
$398.20 - fixed sights $420.20 - adjustable $455.40 - glock night sights $477.40 - trijicon night sights The dealer may charge and additional amount above that to cover his shipping and handling costs, but it will usually only be $25 or so. ETA - these are the current prices for calibers 9mm, .40, and .357 except for the practical tactical models. |

I can do that standing on my head.

Just what is a "blue label" ? There are different color labels on glock cases. I believe there are red, white, blue that I know of . Blue labeled ones are sold at a discount price for Law Enforcement, LE Academy Cadets, EMT/Firefighters/Paramedics, Military Personnel, Corrections Officers, State Licensed Armed Security Officers, Court Judges, District Attorneys, and Deputy D.A.s, GSSF members. |

Not to hijack this thread, but along the same lines...
Has anyone had their LGS say that "the blue label program is only for LEO?" I've had two in the last two weeks say that very thing. First time was a store I actually bought a blue label from in 2011. Maybe the guy answering the phone didn't know what he was talking about. I have an email in to that store's general manager to clarify. Second call was to a store that's not listed on Glock's "blue label" list, but he told me 18 months ago that he could do the program. When I called this time, the person who answered the phone (I think it was his wife) said, "we sell all those guns to LEO, so you don't qualify."
FWIW, I fall into the "first responder" group, not LEO. I have an email in to Glock right now to confirm, but have yet to hear anything (this whole panic thing makes it hard to get email responses, or even get someone to answer a phone, at just about any vendor...yes, that's a good problem to have!). And a question: do any of the online gun vendors honor the blue label pricing for internet sales? Specifically, I'm looking for a Gen 4 Model 35. Even with FFL transfer costs, the price is better than I can get in any store front (paying non-blue label prices). ETA: forgot to ask...can vendors only sell "blue label" guns in this program, or is any Glock they have in stock eligible? H_M |

As far as I know, Glock has a list of those that quality and they give it to each LE dealer. These dealers are required to follow Glocks guidelines, and there have been instances where Glock has pulled dealers from the Blue Label program.
Online sales of blue label guns is not allowed by Glock. See if you can get a print out from Glock, or email Glock LE sales and give them the dealer info. These rules aren't optional and the dealers who abuse this program should be ashamed and removed. That being said, Glock changes their qualified buyers from time to time, and in 2012 there were some big changes regarding EMTs I believe. |
| I bought my Gen 4 23 in NC about a year and a half ago for $425 + tax. Since moving to TX I haven't seen any around here to check prices. Does anyone know if you can order a blue label from Glock through a dealer? I have a co-worker that would like to get one before he moves and hasn't been able to find one. |

Got a quick reply to my email I sent to one of the dealers I mentioned earlier. Not a bad turn-around on their reply, considering they were just at SHOT.
Hi Halfast_Medic, You can come into either of our stores to make the purchase. Paramedics are on the list and do qualify so if someone would say otherwise please have them contact me when they come in. We are currently out of stock on the G22gen4’s and the lead time is approx. 90 days right now. We do however have a few of the G35gen4’s so that would be available immediately. They are at our xyxyxyxyx store so if you are planning to pick up at our other store please call ahead so they can have one sent for you. Prices for each are: G22gen4 – $398.20 G35gen4 - $480.70 $57.20 to add Glock night sights So, should I fo or no-fo for the G35 Gen4? I'm torn between it and the G22. I already have a G23 Gen 3 that's my EDC gun. I was really wanting to get into 3-Gun stuff and some more competitve shooting, so I'm thinking the 35. Input appreciated! |

Since you already have G23, I think getting the G35 would make more sense since the G23 and G22 are very similar. The G35 is a great shooter. Also know the blue label G35 will come with fixed sights, a standard connector, and standard slide stop. |

So school me here guys. Iam FF/EMT in the Tampa Bay area, I have filled out the online form with glock for the blue label and Iam waiting to hear back from them. After searching for LE dealers the only ones I can find are on the East coast. Does any one know of a shop/ dealer that will honor the pricing or can I just do a transfer but by that point I might as well pay full price.
Any help would be grateful. |

The recoil is nil and the pointability is fantastic |

Get your name on the list for the G22, and buy the G35 now. Simple. Typical ARFCOM response...get both! Sounds like that is the best solution, though...Then of course I'll be forced to get the 27, so the family is an intact unit. Right? Away to the gun store for me!!!

Complaining becasue those "other people" were buying the more desireable glocks before his cop buddies could
Blue label prices are only for blue label guns. They could sell you a red label at the blue price, but they'd be losing teh difference. |
| i work for a private contractor for the department of energy and have never found anyone that will sell me a blue label gun.i always have to go to a gssf dealer.the 1st responder program is pretty selective.been doing this for 30 years, top secret clearance, federal commision too. |

If you have an armed guard license a blue label dealer technically agreed to sell you any blue label glock (unlimited quantity) by agreeing to Glock's terms and conditions. Edit: Glock Blue Label Authorized Buyer List |
| GT Distributors is a Blue Label Dealer that has a contract to sell to Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and Florida. And here is their pricing can be found here. |

I evidently got gouged then. Local Scheels at $599 ![]() $599 for a blue label? Glock would LOVE for you to give them a call about that.... So blue label is to be sold at a lower price and only to LEO's ? One of my LGS's has some blue label G20 Gen 3's for 539.99 being sold to regular folk, does that sound right ? |

yep, sounds like he is going to loose his ability to be a stocking dealer for glock with a phone call and an audit by a glock rep. ![]() Those regular folk could be cops, reserve .mil, security guards, EMTs, GSSF members.... Nope, I was one of those regular folk who was looking for a G20 and did not know about blue or red label Glocks, there pricing and who they could be sold to. Purchased it because none could be found in my area and coming with 3 mags I thought was a plus. Also G20 with 2 mags was going for 599 to 620 at other shops even before the panic buying. |
