anyone use them? Are there any advantages with them?

personally if I were going to go away from a flush base plate, I would add a +2. Just my $.02

Same. Never used them on a pistol mag but have them on my AR mags.  For some reason, the theory just doesn't seem to transfer to the pistol mags...

Perhaps because they already have a nice lip that's perfect for grabbin'.

I got some this morning and will see how well they work.

I have heard in the past that the tabs were breaking when they hit the ground during reloads.  Most were not making it through 6-10 training days.  I have not tried them myself thou.  Maybe if someone writes something good here, I'll change my mind.

Those should be a requirement on KCI G22 mags

I agree. I've looked at those but decided that it was extra length/printing for no added benefit (since I shoot them better with flush mags).

Great for storing mags on pegboards

I run these because I use a magwell on my Glock, and without the floor plates I can't tap the magazine with my palm. As far as the rubber portion coming off the baseplate itself, I just added some gorilla glue and they've been on rock solid for the past year. this includes bi-weekly range trips and several training classes.

They do make it easier to grab mags out of a chest rig in my opinion.  I don't run them on carry mags, either the one in the gun or my CCW mags, but the two G17 mags on my chest rig have them.  They also work pretty well if you have a Sub2000.  So far no issues with them.  They're cheap, buy a set and try them.
