| I'm having some problems with a ghost 5.0 tactical trigger I installed in one of my g19's. after installing and reassembling, I tried function checking it and when I pulled the trigger it wouldn't move. I disassembled and double checked everything to ensure I assembled it correctly, then reassembled.....no joy. Disassembled again, then reassembled with factory connector and no problems. Any ideas on what the problem could be? |
| Be sure to remove a little material at a time off the trigger control tab. Maybe .01 or so. Some people use a dremel but I prefer to use a file. It's more time consuming but the file gives you better control of removing smaller increments and ability to keep your cut straight. If you remove too much material it will defeat the purpose of the TCT which is to prevent over travel. |

Have any pics on how much you filed down? i have the 3.5 and 5.0, curious to see how much u filed off. I will try and take pictures and post them for you. I just did my friends 5.0 tactical and it took more tries to get his right. When I did mine it took about 13 tries before I was able to dry fire it. I secured it using needle nose vise grips and used a small file. Once I was able to get it to dry fire I used a honing stone to smooth out the edges. Do you have the orange back plate? It comes in handy when doing this because it allows you to stick a tool inside to release the trigger so you can break it down. |
