| I am looking to compete with my stock Gen4 G17. I am looking for a lighter trigger pull from the stock trigger. Should I swap out the connector to the 3.5 or should I do anything else. Thanks. |

I have tried a few options. I have tried the Ghost Inc Rocket 3.5# Connector and although light, it was very mushy, you could barely tell where the break was going to be. COSteve will probably be in here with links to the Lonewolf 3.5 connector and Competition trigger spring. I ordered a Vanek Classic trigger for the G20L and it was better than both of the options before. It was as light, but you could tell where the break was going to be. Out of these three it was definitely the best, but I don't know if it was necessarily worth the $120. I also had trouble with it not resetting with some of my really hot handloads. I am thinking that this may have something to do with slide speed and not the trigger itself. However I put stock back in and it works fine. Currently running the stock trigger. It has by far the most crisp break of the three I have tried. Reason being is the connector works like a lever. The shorter lever the less distance you have to move it, hence the crisper break and heavier pull IE the 5.5 connector. The longer lever, the 3.5 connector, is a lighter pull but you have to move it further. I might throw a competition trigger spring in with a 5.5 lb connector to see what that feels like. I'd also like to try the glock (-) minus connector which is between the two other options at 4.5 lb. |

I honestly don't know how one 3.5# connector does anything that another doesnt. When you say Zevtech what are you suggesting? I just tried OEM 5.5lb connector with competition trigger spring and I kind of like that. The heavier trigger spring lightens the overall pull weight a bit, but it is still crisp. How heavy of trigger spring can I put in this thing? |

I just played around a bit with my competition spring and factory connector. I believe this may be the best trigger I have felt that is lighter than the factory pull. The way the trigger spring works is the heavier the spring the easier the trigger pull. How heavy of spring can we put in here and leave the factor connector? |
