A coworker wants to trade me a 2nd Gen G17 and I am trying to determine value.

1. I am mil and have always bought blue label Glocks, so a brand new G4 G17 costs me $430 with tax

His is a 2nd Gen G17, some kind of fiber optic night sights, and 4 mags. Police trade in, no not mint.

Any idea of value?

I was thinking around $350

I'd say $300-350 is fair for a police trade in gun with 4 mags,

I think $350 is fair to both parties if the gun is in good shape, the four mags help alot too. Some (like myself) will pay more than that for a nice second generation Glock. Yeah so what, I don't care who knows it either.

if its in VG to exc condition, its worth 350-400 with all the stuff depending on how much you want a Gen2. to me the gen 2 19/23 are awesome. The 17/22 with the longer grip, not so much

See, between my wife and i we have a 17, 19, 21, 26 all gen 4. No problems either.

Like many above, I agree $350 is fair, esp w/ the 4 mags.

350 to 400 is the going rate around here. Once in a great while less than 350. Used Glocks seem to hold their value better than most brands.
