If you are looking for the date of manufacture of your Glock pistol, the fine folks at GlockTalk have done a tremendous amount of research and work keeping on top of the goings on in Smyrna, GA.

Feel free to use the link, but please be respectful of their site if you are going to post there.

I'll start giving a shit about what Spike Lee, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have to say about racial injustice when they stop making their living promoting it.

My G19 is a GGA gun but was bought under the mil/le program the week before the ban sunset and came with 3x 15rd MIL/LE marked magazines from Clyde Armory in Bogart GA.  First gun I ever paid for myself.  Still have it, 50k rounds through it.  Still my off-duty gun.  I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I recently bought a Glock 19 Gen 3 with 3 mags and no box.  I was trying to determine the manufacture date and went to the Glock Research Project.  I typed in the number on the side of the barrel "PDB953" and came up with no info on the date.  Maybe I'm imputing the information wrong?

Please let me know if you guys can give me some direction.  Below is all the information I can pull off the Glock.

On the top of the barrel there is the "9x19" marking.  Nothing else.
On the side of the barrel is: PDB953" followed by the Glock symbol followed by "1" and what looks like a forge mark.
On the frame is under the barrel is "PDB953"

Again, any help would be appreciated.

3rd Gen Glock 22 with MUZ123 for SN.

Unfortunately, the "Glock Talk" 'decoder tables' don't cover this.

Any ideas from the Hive on it's Made Date?

Call Glock & they’ll tell you when it was made.
