| Why is it that the glocks in 380 are LEO only?? can anyone shed some light on this? is it for some reason a class III? |
|
They don't make enough points for import under the 1968 GCA due to the smaller caliber. At least that is what I have been told.
Why LEO only though, I have no idea as I can't see anyone here wanting one in the first place other than a novelty. They were designed for locations where people couldn't own military calibers( 9X19). |
| also considering that the 380 glocks are straight blow back with the as a result required stiffer recoil spring, recoil in the 380 is not going to be any lighter than the 9mm, and racking the slide will be more difficult. not gaining anything by getting the 380(even if it was available) |

I see no advantages at all to a .380 Glock. |

Glock 25 (.380ACP) = same size as the Glock 19 (9x19), 23 (.40S&W), 32 (.357SIG), & 38 (.45GAP)
Glock 28 (.380ACP) = same size as the Glock 26 (9x19), 27 (.40S&W), 33 (.357SIG) & 39 (.45GAP) Due to the straight blowback design, the .380ACP Glocks have the same felt recoil as the 9x19 Glocks. |

Your ll wrong.
I have a Glcok 25. It i the same size as a G19 Mags is diff as it has an insert in the rear to hold the 38 in place. How did I get mine. had a neighbor several year ago that lived across he hall from me and was a friend and she was from Canada and I told her I was going to the local range to shoot my Glock (17) and she wanted to go and take her gun. She said she never shot it and wanted to lean how. When we got to the range I had broght a couple of revolvers (snub noise 36 & 60 S&W) and she fired my 60 with wadcutters and fell in love with it. She wanted to trade her gun, Glock for my revolver. This girl was hot and of course I looked at her Glock in the piustol rug (like new) and said sure. I thought I was getting another 17 (score) after we got back home I threw the two Gocks in my closet and gave her two boxs of 38 Spl for her new gun. he loved the S&W 60. Later that weekend I took her Glock out of the pisol rgn and wet my pants. I did not know what a Glock 25 was but I saw 380 on th slide and my G17 mag would fit it. I took it to a friend (Gun Dealer) where he oferd me the moon for it. Only problem is I cant get any mags for it. Only have the one mag that cam with it. They shoot great and it is a conversation piece, |
