The G30 is only second to the G19 in it's ability to serve nearly all pistol roles well. Congrats, thats a slick gun. I can see why you would say that and after a few more outings and some more shooting I may agree with you. The top right G19 is my main carry gun and the top left G19 is my bedside handgun although the G30 may replace it or share duties in time. The G26 on the right is my T-shirt and shorts gun but that is even going to the G19 lately. My Wife does carry the other G26 though. |

Damn, I'm slipping. When did the Gen4 G30's come out?!? I heard June but this is the first I've seen... My test fire date was June 7th. This is also a blue label gun if that make a difference in availability. I was about to ask that. They've been shipping to LE for a few weeks now. None yet to commercial distributors. Congrats on your new pistol! |

An extended mag release on a gen 3 fits me perfect. How does the gen 4 feel by comparison? Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile I haven't used an extended mag release on any of my Gen 3's in awhile but the Gen 4 mag release is definitely larger while still being flat enough to not be inadvertently pressed while in a holster... At least so far but I've only carried it around the house and at the range so we will see. This is one of the big improvements the the Gen4 however IMO. |

I love My Glock 30. Yours too.... Dave Thanks... My favorite is still the Glock 19 and I've actually received a few offers to trade this for a Gen4 Glock 19 + cash which would equal out to way more than I have into this one but I'm holding on strong. I mean who really needs 3 Glock 19's... |
