I'm surprised that it is still called a "19" since it's a diff cal. I'm surprised it works in regular 9x19 mags/frames also since it's longer.

ETA: OK, read the link above, this "9x21" is different than other "9x21s" like the 9mm largo.

The case is longer, but the OAL of the cartridge is the same.  It will work just fine in traditional 9x19mm magazines.

Used to be popular here to load to high pressures.

It doesn't really do anything not required by laws or regulations, though.

This caliber in use in Italy . In Italy there is a lobby protecting its products hurting foreign producers to sell must be boring the barrels.
