I called Glock this morning to inquire about a new to me G19. Wanted to make sure there weren't any outstanding issues that needed attention before I take it to the range. Talked to a gentleman in the warranty dept. who was very helpful. I gave him the serial number and he told me the assembly date and informed me there was no outstanding recalls or anything on my weapon. He told me that there is a recoil spring issue with some of the Generation 4 pistols. As mine is a late Gen 3, it is not affected. I would suggest you call again. Hopefully you get someone who has had their coffee, and can help. By most accounts their customer service mirrors what I received. Good luck. |
