When did Glock start using the shroud around the recoil spring on Gen 3 G30's...

I was kinda wondering the same thing.  My rhx was warranty replaced with a tak, and it had the shroud. Somewhere in between would be my guess.

Mine's a T series also.  I wonder what comes in the new Gen4. Same thing I suppose.

Yup, looks like they are using Gen 4 springs in everything now.

Old guide rod on left, new on right. All of the sub-compacts are now using the new style. For 26/27/33/39 there have been two different versions, 0-8, and 0-8-1 which has a metal washer at the muzzle end to keep the larger spring from walking over the plastic muzzle cap. They seem to have scrapped the 0-8-1 but I'm not sure. For 29/30 it's 0-9.
