Hi,
I ran across a G37 FDE tonight in the LGS.  It has 2 mags, no box, and some ammo, 50-100 rds.  Is this as sought after as the rest of the FDEs?  Investment?  I can probably get it for less than $500 OTD.  Pretty clean gun.  No NS.

Thanks,

Elroyyboy

Is it Factory FDE? I didn't think they had G37s in the FDE production run 2 months back

What he said.

Glock did make the 37 in OD.

The special limited run of FDE Glocks were the 17 (gen 3 & 4), 19 (gen3 & 4), 21Gen4, 22 (gen 3 & 4) & 23 (gen 3 & 4).

Why does the FDE mag have a scalloped baseplate?

Well...  Maybe it's not factory and, as a result, priced lower than other used Glocks at the LGS.  It was a Gen 3 gun.

In the last FDE run I was able to get a Gen 3 G19 new for $499..(Gen 4 was $520) If your dealer isn't out to screw you over you should be able to get the same deal in the next run (October I think)

A .45 GAP Glock in FDE will be a slightly more desireable version of a gun no one wants in 10 years.

You're probably right.  Should just wait on a Lipsey's Gen 4 FDE (though I don't really know why I'd want one, except that it may be valuable to Glock Hounds one day).
I had an OD G23 (tried to get a "C" but Ed's Public Safety didn't have, and I'm not sure if Glock even made OD or FDE C models) and let a friend buy it.  He's got several, including a Gen 2 "Defender Set" G23/G27 labeled/numbered/serialized.  So, I thought he'd take better care of it than I.  :)

Anyway, was just curious about the G37.

Thanks for the input,
