They've been around for a while; I bought some a year or so ago from PSA.

Tried them for a while, didn't really like them, took them off the mags (which is a bit of a pain due to the loop being in the way). YMMV.

Sitting in the parts drawer right now.  If you want to try one out, email me your mailing address and I'll send you one.

Gimmick.

Somewhat agree. I bought enough for all my mags, had a good time for a while, then they just got old and I realized I didn't need them and removed them.

I installed a set yesterday. One had the handle come unglued as soon as I installed it.

I bought them because I needed and extended baseplate and could not find an affordable option that doesn't increase capacity. My search continues.

I had several of the handles come off during training and general usage as well. Magpul was good with replacing them, but in the end, they came off. I actually rock the speedplate baseplates still, as they are a little better than the factory plates. At least until Vickers' plates hit the market.

I thought the Vickers were out? I may order some.

The issue is with my 17c. It has a Dawson ICE magwell, the flat baseplates are just below flush. Concerned that in a hurry I won't seat a mag completely.

Turns out they are indeed released. Click
