Anyone have one? What do you think of them?

my FFL dealer had a couple. They seemed well put together - I fondled a couple, but they were kind of expensive for what they were.....

Seen them priced at $199 I think that's an alright price. I am thinking I might have to give one a try.

From lone wolfs website of course that is the price for the stripped frame. They say they are on backorder but should be in soon.

I had one one and I ended up selling it.

For me,  the radius on the "beaver tail" was much too flat.  It just didn't feel right on the web of my thumb and index finger when gripped it.  Comparing it to the original Glock frame, XD frames, and M&P frames, the radius on those were a lot smaller, i.e. much more curved so that they they rested much more naturally in my hand.  The beaver tail also is longer on the Lone Wolf frame so much so that it wouldn't work in my Safariland 6004 holster since the hood wouldn't clear it.

The grip on the Lone Wolf frame felt better than the Glock original frame, but I wished hey had an insert that was in between the two sizes it comes with.  The flat one that simulates a 1911 grip, felt a little too small, but better than the humped insert.  I emailed them enquiring if they had any plans to make different back strap inserts and they said they had, but haven't started making any and don't know if they will.

The above two issues weren't a huge deal I couldn't live with, but the big kicker for me was the pin on the back of the grip would work it's way out when shooting the gun.  Either the pin that came with my Glock was on the low side of he tolerances or the Lone Wolf frame hole was on the high end or even too big.  I could have fixed that by making a larger pin .001"-.002" larger, but with the other issues I didn't care for on the frame, I just figured it wasn't worth it to me.

With some refinements, I think the Lone Wolf frames could be the cat's ass for people like me that don't like the original Glock frames, but for now, they just aren't for me.

I owned one and had the same problem with the beaver tail area. It kinda felt like a Sig with the high bore line. Someone with big paws might like the shape. The frame worked great fit and finish was good. I sold it to buy a Gen4 model.

What sort of reliability and accuracy were y'all seeing with the Timberwolf frame and the Lone Wolf slide? I have pretty big hands and get slide bite from regular Glocks, so I've been looking at the Timberwolf. But, I don't find any all Lone Wolf reviews on reliability.

Thanks!

Just as reliable and accurate as with the Glock frame as I recall.  I am not the best shot with a Glock, but I didn't notice any differences.

One other annoyance I remember with the Timberwolf frame was the bottom of the grip was molded incorrectly.  The magazine floorplate and bottom of the grip aren't parrallel, you can see it in the other poster's pic.  Not a functional issue, just poor engineering.  The front of my frame also drooped down quite a bit as well which looked pretty crappy.  I wish I had some pics to show you.

All that work and they didn't address Glock's biggest flaw.........

Thanks. I've seen pictures of the frame droop. IIRC, the droop is something they've fixed.
