I don't have a Glock but this question came up today when I was at the range.
The guy that came in before I left had a Glock and two boxes of .45 ammo.
I've heard warnings about not shooting reloads before but was wondering about this stuff.
Wolf ammo is notorious with AR's due to problems with extraction. torn case heads, laquer buildup etc.  Are there any issues  with Glocks and Wolf?

First off I have never seen the "lacquer buildup" in the bazillion rounds of wolf I have fired through ARs, Pistols and AKs. A Wolf rep that I talked to claimed that on the older Wolf the waterproofing would melt and gum things up, but that they had discontinued the use of the waterproofing quite some time ago.

Most of what is posted about Wolf here is like what is posted about Glocks, 2nd hand baloney and rumors, like "AKs were designed to fire steel cased ammo" 'course that's a bunch of horsepoo, but someone posted it here and it gets parroted again and again.

Anyway I've shot many thousands of rounds of Wolf through my Glocks and Beretta 92 with no problems at all.

I've put a lot of wolf through my AR and have had no problems with it. I'd say go for it.

My glocks don't give you allot of problems with Wolf ammo, the only pistols I own that don't do well with Wolf is a H&K USP 45s and a SIG 2340.  The HK has the problem that the about once in ever 2 or so magazines a unfired case is a bit too long and hits the forcing cone prior to the weapon going into battery and this locks it up.  The 2340s has the problem that the fired rounds tend not to get caught by the extractor and sticks to the chamber.  In both cases the round has to pushed out, with the HK that means pushing out a live round.

Glock plus Wolf = all day cheap shooting fun!

It is a little dirty, though.  And it really stinks up the indoor range I use.

That's actually true. The local 02 guy who builds AKs for the military stresses AKs run better with steel. When a guy builds his own cans, supressed shotguns, rebuilds machine guns, and has gov't contracts tells me something . I tend to listen.

well wolf 7.62x39 is a lot different than wolf .45 and what I mean is the .30 is a lot more reliable and has been produced longer by Wolf....decent stuff....in 7.62x39

the .45... Gross stuff, really dirty, not something I'd stake my life on, but good if you want something cheap.

You get what you pay for

I've shot Wolf through my G19 and G17 without any issues.  Not nearly as many rounds as guys like Aimless and VA_Gunnut but nevertheless I've used it without any problems.  However, if you are shooting 9mm like me it doesn't save you any money over Winchester White Box so I don't really go out looking for it when I need ammo.  If it's there fine, if not, fine.
