I would love that setup with a G18 and a bunch of 33 rounders. Do you have to register the gun as an SBR? And then can you shoot it as a pistol still? Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Yep, that's an SBR. Pull the stock and it's back to regular old Title 1 pistol status. |

There's a guy in New England who sells 16" barrels for Glocks.
It's my understanding that if you put the 16" barrel in first, you can then attach the stock without NFA paperwork. Edit to add: Link for the 16" Barrels. |

Been shooting it since 2010, it needs some break in but after that it's all fun (right now +3000 trouble free rounds) Here are some pics
Their product is top quality I can assure you |

Wait... Is that a fake suppressor on a full auto? According to his profile he's in Chile. No idea what the laws there are, but I bet they are different from the USA. In my country only we LEOs are allow to own full auto gun. SBR SBS and that stuff is non existent. However guns are expensive, we get most of our stuff from Europe (ITAR SUCKS!) Keep in mind a new Glock cost around US$1400, so yeah stuff is expensive |
| I actually like that. I think a VFG on the front would be good for the left hand. The only problem with these Glock conversions is that there won't be a safety selector on the gun which would make me a little nervous about trying to walk around with a round in the chamber. |

Or you could buy one of these and fuck all the paperwork...
this guy is just a bon-a-fied hero with that beard
Cool thing is, you can buy a .45 upper, and run it on a 9mm Glock frame. And they also make them for 1911's, you know, for queers

Just get a Kel-Tec if you want to use Glock mags. This is getting entirely too complicated. |

Using a conversion stock and a long barrel, you could get a 10mm or .357sig that would take Glock mags. I really don't know––is there a .357sig or 10mm option for the Keltec? Or for an AR conversion that takes Glock mags? Just roll with +P 9mm then. Dang, that's got to be ++P++ 9mm if it rivals 10mm. |

I talked my brother out of the 16 inch version due to one little fact they don't mention... handgun powders are designed for about 6 inches of burn and after that you don't see much in velocity gains and the bullet can actually slow down in the longer barrel...

Then it's time to stop goofing around with pistol calibers, and step up to an intermediate cartridge. |
| I just recently got a G21 CCU from MechTech and am very happy with it. It's accurate and hard hitting out to 100M (& more, I just haven't worked with it that far, yet). I also just completed my .300 AAC BLK AR and am now working up loads for it. At this point, I think I have the intermediate caliber covered, and can still have fun with the .45ACP carbine that I've always wanted. |

Friends don't let friends turn their handguns into longguns. That's actually true to some extent. Let's take all the data there. The last column if the average for that inch, the next one is the %increase by that inch. Now, let's take for example the G17 with a ~4.5" Barrel (we took the average data 4"-5"), and we show the % increase taking the 4.5" barrel as reference, starting from 10"
A zoomed imaged
So you can see that a 13" you get the most increase regarding a 4.5" barrel as reference, a 16" barrel is useless as you get more weight and none increase in velocity regarding a 13" barrel. Using this data is why I choose a 12" Barrel (nearest to 13") for 9mm instead of 10" or 16" Hope this help |
