I remember when the Korean magazines first came out, there they received a lot of positive reviews from shooters.  Are they still considered reliable?  Where's a good place to buy some G17 ones?

Thanks.

I bought a bunch  from cdnn for G 19. they have all been GTG. The magazine springs are a little weaker than Glocks but they all work. Got them at 4.99, hard to pass that up.

I also got mine from CDNN for $4.99 each shipped.  I had to buy an exacto knife, and clean up the plastic on the inside in order for them to function.
So far, I have had no feeding issues with them, but have only put less than 500 rounds through 3 G19 mags.  And sometimes on one mag, I can only get 12 rounds into a 15 round mag.

G19 mags are at least equal in quality & function.
Not sure about other mags especially the extended mags.
G19 Korean mags are currently used by Korean Secret Service.

I bought some a while back, and have used them to load up for the range, never use them for carry weapon though, not becuase I couldn't, I just figured I'd leave my Glock mags for carry, I only have 6 of them, ha.  It makes range day more fun just going out with 20 loaded magazines instead of hand loading at the range.

^^^ Exactly what I do.  Well worth the money for range mags.  Have a couple (2-3 out of 20) that seem to be problematic.  Good training for clearing malfunctions.  I leave mine loaded, never know when the urge may arise to pop off 300 rounds

The KCI G19 mags I had worked great.

Perfect range magazines, but wouldn't use them for carry.

I bought some of the .40 S&W caliber magazines.  Opened up two bags, nethier magazine works.  Cleaned up the plastic around the lips, sanded the rough plastic extrusions out of the inside - they still didn't work.  I ordered Glock followers and springs, they still don't work exactly right.  They hand on loading and unloading.  They may be alright for range magazines but in the future I'll just buy the Glock magazines when I see them on sale.

I own 20 mags, half G17 / half G19. I've not had a single malfunction over the course of approximately 1500 rounds. They don't drop free in all my Glocks, but they have been extremely reliable. That said, they'll always take a back seat to my Glock OEM mags. For me, it's just a matter of principle.

Damn, finally hit 1000 posts since 2001. Even with 10 Glocks, 6 ARs, and 7 AKs I'm still a lurker! I've learned a lot here, though. Thanks, gentlemen (and women).

I use them for USPSA. Saves wear and tear on OEM stuff. CDNN is where I got mine. $4.99.

They are $5 mags at best. I owned them... emphasis on past tense. Springs crapped out around 6k. I stick with Glock OEM now.

I have used 5. 3 of them were bad. Major issues.

I have no use for mags I can't trust my life to.

I bought mine from wideners for 9.99. For ever 2 you buy you get this mylon double mag pouch thing thats not really fancy or anything, but comes in hand. i know theyre a few bucks more, but I trusted them as far as how they advertised them as being drop free etc. Every one of them Ive bought and the ones my buddys got from there as well were top notch. i was reluctant to buy any before because i had heard that people were gettin them that were FML but didnt frop free, or some did and some didnt. Well these do. Even though theyre a little more than CDNN, you get a good mag for sure. A mag that does not drop free for 5.99 is a waste of money to me. Plus, 10.00 is still a hell of a lot cheaper than an OEM mag.
